Timeline Infinity Terms of Service
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Timeline Infinity (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") and users who access and use the online internet services provided by the Service.
Article 2 (Display, Effect, and Amendment of Terms)
① The Service displays the contents of these Terms on the initial service screen so that users can easily understand them.
② The Service may amend these Terms to the extent that they do not violate related laws such as the Act on Development of Online Digital Contents Industry, the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Act on Regulation of Terms and Conditions, and the Framework Act on Consumers.
③ When the Service amends the Terms, it shall specify the existing Terms, amended Terms, the effective date of the amended Terms, and the reason for the amendment, and notify them on the service homepage for a reasonable period from 15 days before the effective date. If the amendment is unfavorable to users, it shall be notified from 30 days before the effective date.
Article 3 (Provision of Service)
① This Service is a web application that provides an AI-based historical timeline board game experience.
② Service hours are 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (00:00-24:00) in principle, except when it is impossible due to business or technical reasons. However, the Service may separately set dates and times for specific service ranges due to reasons such as regular maintenance of service facilities.
Article 4 (User Obligations)
① Users shall not engage in any of the following acts:
- Acts that intentionally interfere with the operation of the Service
- Illegal acts or acts that interfere with the operation of the Service
- Acts of modifying information posted on the Service or using information obtained through the Service for commercial or non-commercial purposes such as reproduction, publication, broadcasting, etc., or providing it to third parties without prior approval from the Service
- Acts that infringe on the rights of the Service or third parties, such as posting false facts about the Service or third parties, or infringing on intellectual property rights
- Acts of transmitting or posting information (such as computer programs) whose transmission or posting is prohibited by related laws such as the Information and Communications Network Act
- Acts of disseminating information, sentences, graphics, sounds, etc. that violate public order or good morals
- Acts of posting or transmitting materials containing software viruses, other computer codes, files, or programs designed to interfere with or destroy the normal operation of computer software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment
- Acts that violate current laws, terms and conditions set by the Service, or other regulations regarding the use of the Service
② The Service may restrict the use of the Service or unilaterally terminate this contract if the user engages in acts under paragraph 1.
Article 5 (Restriction and Suspension of Service Use)
① The Service may restrict or suspend the user's use of the Service if any of the following reasons occur:
- When the user intentionally interferes with the operation of the Service
- When it is unavoidable due to inspection, repair, or construction of service facilities
- When a telecommunications business operator specified in the Telecommunications Business Act suspends telecommunications services
- When there is a hindrance to the use of the Service due to national emergency, service facility failure, or excessive use of the Service
- When the Service deems it inappropriate to continue providing the Service due to other serious reasons
② When the Service restricts or suspends the use of the Service pursuant to the preceding paragraph, it shall notify the user of the reason and the restriction period.
Article 6 (Ownership of Rights and Use of Works)
① Copyright and intellectual property rights for the services provided by the Service belong to the Service.
② Rights to game results, scores, records, etc. created by users through the use of the Service belong to the users.
③ The Service may use game results created by users for purposes such as service improvement, statistical analysis, and marketing.
Article 7 (Service Obligations)
① The Service strives to faithfully implement measures such as maintaining, inspecting, or repairing facilities related to service provision and security to ensure continuous and stable service provision.
② The Service strives to protect users' personal information learned in connection with the provision of the Service and not to disclose or distribute it to third parties without the user's consent.
Article 8 (Youth Protection)
The Service separately implements youth protection policies specified in the Information and Communications Network Act to protect youth from harmful information and help youth use the Internet safely as a space where all age groups can freely use it. Specific details can be found on the initial service screen, etc.
Article 9 (Disclaimer)
① The Service shall not be liable for damages incurred by users in the following cases where the Service cannot be provided:
- When there is a natural disaster or equivalent force majeure
- When there is intentional service interference by a third party with whom the Service has entered into a service partnership agreement for service provision
- When there is a service failure due to the user's fault
- When there are other reasons not due to the Service's intentional or negligent fault
② The Service does not guarantee the reliability, accuracy, etc. of information, materials, or facts posted on the Service through methods such as AI provision or user creation, and shall not be liable for damages incurred by users as a result.
③ The Service is provided as-is, and the Service does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the content.
Article 10 (Dispute Resolution)
These Terms are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising between the Service and users in connection with the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the address under the Civil Procedure Act.
Article 11 (Application of Regulations)
Matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by related laws, and matters not specified in the law shall be governed by custom.
Supplementary Provisions
These Terms shall take effect from January 1, 2024.
If there are amendments to these Terms, the changes will be notified on this page, and if there are changes, the effective date will be specified.
